International Opportunities for Ministry
Ministers interested in international positions, including in Canada, whether as short term interims, during sabbaticals, or as settled ministers, should be approved and endorsed for these opportunities by the Transitions Director within the Ministries and Faith Development (MFD) Staff Group of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA).
The UUA does not offer formal settlement services in other countries, so ministers seeking international positions are advised to contact the local Unitarian, Universalist and Unitarian Universalist organizations of the region in which they are interested. The Director of MFD can provide a letter of endorsement and Good Standing if requested by a congregation or organizing body.
The UUA's International Resource Office also has information for ministers interested in global service.
