March 2011: 8th National Conference
The 8th National Conference for Large Congregations will be held Thursday - Sunday, March 17-20, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
Past National Conferences for Large Congregations
The national conferences for large Unitarian Universalist congregations are held triennially.
The 7th National Conference for Large Congregations, "From Perspiration to Inspiration: Spiritually Grounded leadership for Large Congregations," was held March 13-16, 2008, in Louisville, KY, at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
Large Churches face unique challenges in realizing their potential for growth, health, and spiritual vitality. The Sixth Continental Conference for Large Churches, "Congregations In Good Company," was held February 17-20, 2005, in Boston, MA.
"Changing Congregations, Changing Cultures" was the theme of The Fifth Continental Conference for Large Churches. It was held November 1-4, 2001, in Portland, OR.
Past Regional Conference for Large Congregations
March 2009: Regional Large Congregations Webinar Conference
Ministry, Mission, & Message: a Webinar Conference for Large and Large Midsized Congregations was held Saturday, March 7, 2009. This webinar conference was intended for ministers, staff, and lay leaders, including aspiring leaders. It was sponsored by the four district partnership, NRG (or Northern Regional Group), a regional collaboration between Joseph Priestley, Metro New York, Ohio Meadville, and St. Lawrence districts.
