Website| Facebook | Twitter | Donate Here we repost the current RCRR newsletter and invite you to follw them as well. - Ed. Dear Reader, Meet Generation RJ - RCRC's Seminarians for Reproductive Justice, who are stepping up to help lead the movement for reproductive justice. They're from seminaries and rabbinic and divinity schools across the nation. And they're bringing exciting perspectives to our work for justice. You can get to know Seminarians for Reproductive Justice by visiting and “liking” their Facebook page and reading their blog. This is just a sample of current blog posts: a seminary professor reflects on her journey from ardent opponent to supporter of this work, a faithful Catholic student answers the question – how can you be Catholic and believe in women having reproductive options, and a Unitarian Universalist explains the connection between justice for immigrants and reproductive justice. This is a new chapter in RCRC's ongoing work to engage current and future faith leaders in issues relating to reproductive health on seminary, rabbinic, and divinity school campuses. Whether you are a seminarian or seminary graduate yourself or you are interested in questions of theology, spirituality, and reproductive justice, we welcome you to join in these conversations and share them with others. Ways to Get Involved: "Like" Seminarians for Reproductive Justice on Facebook. Read the blog. Share it with others and add your own voice by commenting. Every day we talk to clergy, future clergy and others who tell us how alone and isolated they feel as pro-choice faith leaders. This blog offers a way for likeminded folks to find each other- and for that we need your help. Offer to guest-blog with a topic linked to religious education, seminary, and the reproductive justice movement. All perspectives welcome! If you have a seminarian intern at your congregation or you are connected to a seminarian, tell them about Seminarians for Reproductive Justice so that they can connect with our network of activists. If you attended a seminary, rabbinic school or other institution of religious training, you can help in establishing a Seminarians for Reproductive Justice presence at your alma mater. Pass information about Seminarians for Reproductive Justice and our other work to anyone from your school who will be interested, and contact us so we can work with you to establish a connection. By clicking here, you can see where we are well-established and where we are getting started. Please let us know where else we need to establish a presence. With your help, Seminarians for Reproductive Justice will become a thriving presence in schools across the country. The members of these groups are the reproductive justice leaders of tomorrow. Supporters like you can make an enormous difference in the future of reproductive health by partnering with RCRC to amplify their voices. Thank you for your continued support. Peace and Blessings, Rev. Matthew Westfox Director of Interfaith Outreach Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice
