Your stories are needed!

Unitarian Universalist chaplains serve diverse communities in many different institutional settings. For the first time the wisdom of those who do these ministries is being collected in an edited volume to be published by Skinner House Books. So what does that have to do with campus ministry? Well, we want to make sure the voices of college and university chaplains are heard! If you have worked as a chaplain serving students, or in any other capacity, read on to learn how you can contribute to this groundbreaking resource. Wanted: Personal stories, theological reflection, spiritual assessment tools, and interfaith challenges. Possible topics: Healing, suffering, principles and purposes, prayer, ministry with particular populations, cultural competency, justice and prophetic concern in chaplaincy. Please send: A 300 – 500 word abstract and proposed title, a 500 word biography including professional affiliations, as well as all relevant post and email contact information. Contact: Rev. Karen Hutt, editor - revkarenhutt@gmail.com. Deadline: October 25th 2013
