2012 Greeley Award Winner: Kent Price

We extend our congratulations to Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office (UU-UNO) Envoy Kent Price, winner of the 2012 Rev. Dana Greeley Award!

Each year the UU-UNO invites submissions of sermons that speak to the importance of the United Nations and building a more just international community. This year, sermons highlighted empowering women for a better world. The award honors the memory of Reverend Dana McLean Greeley, the first president of the Unitarian Universalist Association and a strong supporter of the United Nations.

Read Kent’s sermon “Half of Humanity” (Word) which he delivered during the 2012 UU-UNO annual reception at the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) General Assembly in June.

Kent has been a Unitarian Universalist since the mid-1960s and a UU-UNO envoy since 2007. Read more about Kent’s path to the UU-UNO (Word).
