"A Call to Action" Video on Accessibility

Play Video

"A Call to Action" is an excellent 14 minute video produced by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Accessibilities Committee.

The video showcases four Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations as they each moved through efforts to increase accessibilities both physically and theologically. We believe that:

"The call to action is bigger than a request for a ramp, a Braille hymnal or a fragrance-free zone. The call to action is about people—all people. What we hope you see in these stories is the collective need for every Unitarian Universalist to recognize and act on the knowledge that when we exclude one person, we exclude a portion of who we are; and when we join in the transformation within each and every UU community, the words 'welcoming to all' will ring true for all."

The video can be viewed online, or in VHS format, borrowed from your local district office or purchased for $15 by contacting the UUA's Office of Accessibility Concerns.
