The Job of the Vice Chair

Qualifications

  • Understanding of stewardship
  • Excellent leadership, organization, planning and communication skills
  • No fewer than two years' service as a District Chair
  • Experience on the Executive Committee
  • Commitment to the goals, vision, mission and ministry of the APF Committee and our Association of Congregations
  • Trained, or willing to attend training as soon as possible in anti-racism/anti-oppression/multi-culturalism work

Responsibilities

  • Member of the Executive Committee (serves in one of the At-Large positions)
  • Takes prime responsibility for planning and chairing fall Committee training meetings and other orientation meetings
  • Assists the General Chair, as needed
