Attending Meetings

Annual Program Fund (APF) Committee members are expected to attend the periodic APF Committee meetings held in Boston. Lodging will be provided at the Eliot and Pickett House, the Unitarian Universalist Association's (UUA's) bed and breakfast facility. The APF Office will provide information about travel arrangements. The meeting usually runs from Thursday evening until noon Sunday. It is a busy and lively mix of training, strategic planning, meetings with UUA staff and administration, and opportunities to share and interact with other District Representatives. Agendas are provided in advance of the meeting.

Expense Reimbursement

Travel expenses to meetings of the Committee are reimbursed by the UUA.  Before travelling, Representatives are encouraged to review the Board Travel, Meal, and Expense Guidelines document to become familiarizes with the UUA's policies on reimbursable expenses. To be reimbursed for expenses incurred for and during the meeting, use of the UUA Travel and Entertainment Expense Report provided with meeting materials is appropriate. Retention of all receipts for reimbursable expenses is mandatory and will be submitted along with the completed expense report. See "Travel and Expense Guidelines" for reimbursement forms.
