Understandings
- Oppression of all kind is learned. It can be unlearned.
- Oppression does not necessarily go away. Often it transforms into another version of oppression.
- There is no hierarchy of human life.
- Bisexual, gay, lesbian, and transgender people have always existed in our world.
- The purposes and principles of our faith push us to keep up the work of ending biphobia, heterosexism, homophobia, racism, sexism, and transphobia.
