Regional Organizing Consultants
Our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Young Adult & Campus Ministry Regional Organizing Consultants (or ROCs) serve as the backbone of our grassroots networking and information clearinghouse services. These ROCs are geographically dispersed across Canada and the USA. ROCs are very part-time consultants (2-3 hours per week). The #1 Priority of ROCs is to maintain communication between the UUA staff and local and district groups. As part of this, ROCs make sure group information is up-to-date, inquire about local successes and challenges, and connect groups to UUA services. If you are a local group leader or are interested in starting a new group, please contact your ROC who can help point you resources sometimes including other interested young adults and/or college students.
ROCs also serve to help organize district-level young adult and campus structures, through consulting, workshops and conference assistance.
