Latest Reports
- January 2008 (9 pages):
Report of the Congregations Come First (CCF) Team
This is the most recent report of the CCF Team, created in January 2008. It is evident that positive change is occurring in the system. The CCF Team can be very effective in encouraging healthy change by asking questions and stimulating conversations. This report addresses these changes and asks some questions for consideration by all of our leaders.
- May 2007 (12 pages)
Background
The following documents will be helpful to you as you seek to understand how districts and district staff members have served Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations over the years, and the continuing efforts to ensure their continuing contributions to the health and vitality of UU congregations:
- September
1981 (22 pages): Report of District Representation & District Resources to the
UUA
Board of Trustees
This is a 22-page report summarizing recommendations on how districts might be structured differently to more effectively serve congregations. The recommendations it contained were scaled back six month later, in a report dated April 2, 1982, (see below) largely due to the challenges of funding the changes recommended.
- April 1982 (30 pages): Report of District Representation & District Resources to the
UUA Board of Trustees
This is a follow-up report to the September 30, 1981, report based partly on feedback received on that report. It is 30 pages long. It includes additional recommendations not included in the earlier report.
- December 2001 (13 pages): Report of the Architecture Team on Lay Leadership &
Training
This is a 13-page report summarizing the findings of a taskforce charged with exploring ways in which lay leadership development training could be provided more effectively to lay leaders around the continent.
