Youth Advisor Survey Report
Between December 2006 and February 2007, 386 people participated in the Youth Advisor Survey. Respondents included paid and volunteer youth advisors, local and district youth ministry coordinators, Directors of Religious Education, ministers, Coming of Age mentors, Our Whole Lives teachers, and other adults who work with youth. The data was broken into five areas for analysis: demographics, size of congregation, whether the respondent is a member of his/her/hir congregation, if the respondent had heard of the Chrysalis training program, if the respondent is paid to work with Unitarian Universalist Youth and by the respondent’s identified sexual orientation and racial identity. These comparisons were prioritized over many other potential comparisons because of their connection to the desired outcomes of the Consultation process.
Data analysis was done by Jesse Jaeger and Megan Dowdell.
