Youth Ministry Resources
The Six Components of a Balanced Youth Program (PDF)Worship, leadership, youth-adult relations, community building, social action, and learning—these are the six components of a balanced youth program. These components can and should be applied to a congregational context as well. A congregation with active social action, learning, community building, worship, leadership, and intergenerational programs is a truly balanced, thriving congregation. All of these components support the life of a congregation by providing connection points for youth and adults.
