Abbey Tennis
Abbey Tennis is a life-long Unitarian Universalist and current member of First Parish church in Arlington, MA. Abbey has served in a number of local, district, regional and continental functions, including First Parish Arlington’s Denominational Affairs Committee, as chair of the Mass Bay District Youth Steering Committee, on Ferry Beach’s board of directors, representing Mass Bay to the Continental Youth Council, as Youth Observer to the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Board of Trustees, as a Spirituality Development, Leadership Development and Youth Advisor Trainer, and working as a Young Religious Unitarian Universalist Programs Specialist at the UUA.
Abbey has been committed to advancing the causes of Youth and Young Adult ministry and Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression. She graduated from Oberlin College, and currently lives in Jamaica Plain, MA. She currently works for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on renewable energy and climate change policy and funding.
