CMS Publishing Schedule for Editors
So the Office of Electronic Communication can keep attention focused on migrating web pages we have established publishing procedures for time-sensitive material. If you need to have a time-sensitive document published outside of our regular publishing queue you must adhere to the following timetable to ensure your web page is published by your deadline.
UUA.org CMS Editors' Publishing Timetable
| "Go Live" Deadline | Send Pages for Live Approval by 2:30 p.m. on Prior for CMS pages |
|---|---|
| Monday | Friday |
| Tuesday | Monday |
| Wednesday | Tuesday |
| Thursday | Wednesday |
| Friday | Thursday |
| (If a holiday intervenes, final materials must be to the Editor one work day earlier than shown.) | |
CMS Publishers will publish all Editor approved pages daily, between 2:30 and 5 p.m. If pages are returned for correction they can be resubmitted for the following day's publishing.
We strongly recommend that anyone involved in the writing/editing process build in time to test and review (and perhaps have others in your work group review) any document on via the Staging Server before it's sent for live publishing. It gives ample time for corrections and decreases the possibility of any publishing delays.
If you are routinely receiving web page information from other members of your staff group you should send the General Publishing Timetable to all those who need to see it. If they give you your information on time then you can do the same for us!
