Deans for each programming area will be appointed to develop and administer each track.
Deans will be selected on the basis of demonstrated skill in core areas. Nominations for individuals to serve as program Deans are invited through September 1, 2008.

Nick Carter, President of Andover Newton Theological School, Keynote Speaker for UU University 2008
The theme speaker for the third annual UU University was the Rev. Dr. Nick Carter, President of Andover Newton Theological School. Dr. Carter worked with us on how to lead through the borderlands of difference that naturally occur in a context of diversity: diversity of thought, diversity of opinions, diversity of theologies, diversity of any kind.
Dr. Carter examines the dimensions of the "borderlands" as well as its pathologies. He asks us to look at ourselves, our congregations, and our surrounding communities and understand the unique challenges of diversity of many kinds in each of these contexts.
- When do our differences make us uncomfortable?
- How do we lead a congregation with so many opinions and perspectives?
- How do we develop respectful partnerships in the surrounding community?

DVDs of the UU University experience are also available at the Unitarian Universalist Association Bookstore.
The UUU 2008 DVD will be available in early fall, 2008.
